Description
Accommodation at Tholo lodge consists of two camps, MainCamp and BushCamp. You have a choise between the main lodge,stonebuilding and the bush camp .Only one party at a time will be accommodated in a unit to ensure your privacy.
Tholo Lodge is a self-catering Lodge unless arranged otherwise.
Main Camp
The main camp consist of the Main lodge and the Stone Building . It also contains cement dam that has been painted blue and filled with clean water that can be used for swimming.
The Main lodge (max 13 people)
The unit consist of the following.
The unit is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and crockery.
It consists of the following:
Rondavel : Consist of 3 Rooms: (Room with double bed and en-suite bathroom,bedroom with 2 double beds,bedroom with 2 single beds), 1 bathroom, a kitchen and the Jacuzzi room outside.
Lapa : Living area, braai area and TV with DSTV.
Flat : Consist of 2 rooms and a bathroom. (Room with 3 single beds and a room with a double bed)
Duvets and cushions are supplied so only bring your food, drinks, toiletries and personal equipment .
Stone building (max 26 people)
The stone building is about 30 metres from the back of the Main Lodge. It consist of 4 chalets and a conference/dining room with a bar area. It can accommodate 26 people in total.
A chalet consist of one room and a bathroom with a shower. A chalet has room for 6 to 7 people. There are one kitchen for the unit .This unit is best for a family wekend or school/church camps.Only one party will be accomodated in the building at a time to ensure your privacy.
Chalet 1: 6 people (2 double beds, 2 single);
Chalet 2: 6 people (2 double beds, 2 single);
Chalet 3: 7 people (2 double beds, 3 single);
Chalet 4: 7 people (3 double beds, 1 single);
Bush Camp (max 15 people)
BushCamp is the more basic camp – The camp is designed around an island dam and consists of the old farm house.
The house consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Kitchen, dining area.
The kitchen area comes fully equipped with electrical plates and a fridge/freezer. All utensils for 15 people are supplied, from plates and mugs to braai grids, so only bring your food, drinks, personal equipment, toiletries and all you need to stay warm
