Description
The village of St. Lucia was first know as the River of the Sound of Gold, a name given to it by the early Portuguese explorers because of its golden beaches, sun and sea. It is in this magnificent, peaceful setting that lies the Rhino Coast Guesthouse.
It is a modern house with an open plan design flowing out on outside entertainment- breakfast lapa. The comfortable African style en-suite bedrooms open onto a swimming pool patio. Air-conditioned double and family rooms are available with all the necessary amenities provided ? hair dryers, wall safes, clock radios, hospitality trays and stocked bar fridges.
Your delicious breakfasts with fresh tropical fruit are served outside in the entertainment ? breakfast lapa. Group South African dinners or a traditional a Braai (Barbeque) can be arranged on request (minimum 6 guests). Lunch and Dinners are not a problem as it are available from a selection of the village restaurants which are in walking distance form the Guesthouse ? safe!!!
Guest can also, at special rates go an experience unforgettable excursions with our open 4x4 Safari Vehicles or travel with their own private transport.

Direction
| Traveling on the N2 either from Durban (South Side) or from Johannesburg, Swaziland, (North Side). Turn off the N2 High?Way at MTUBATUBA, which is still 27 km from St. Lucia. Take the R618 from Mtubatuba to ST. LUCIA. On arriving in St. Lucia, you would cross the bridge over the St. Lucia Estuary and reach a 3 way yield sign. Turn left & immediately right into BEACH ROAD. Take the first (1ste) street right, PELIKAAN STREEN, the first (1ste) house on your LEFT is RHINO COAST GUESHOUSE.
