Egweni is a farm-style, architecturally designed accommodation, conference and wedding venue. It provides luxury accommodation, which presently consists of 5 double rooms, 2 single rooms and a self-catering family unit. There are also 3 standard rooms of which 1 is self-catering. Each unit is an individually decorated luxury suite all furnished and decorated with your comfort in mind.The tasteful d?cor, good service and its view over the beautiful Vaal River with its breath taking rapids, creates a relaxed ambience in which you can completely unwind.A recent survey conducted by a prominent woman's magazine identified Parys as one of the top ten country weekend breakaway destinations in South Africa.The four state-of-the-art conference rooms vary in size and can respectively accommodate between 8, 10, 30 and up to 70 people, depending on the style of seating. With exceptional personalised service from our dedicated conference host, - you'll have the perfect venue to host your next conference.A banqueting hall that caters for weddings or any special function of up to 150 guests, was completed at the end of 2005. The owners of Egweni are currently building a chapel for weddings and this will be completed by November 2006.Future developments in the planning stage includes a further 10 en-suite rooms / self-catering units, a small cosy restaurant, and stylish picnic and entertainment areas along the river frontage, to ultimately create one of the most luxurious and popular resorts along the Vaal River.Whether you visit Parys as a tourist or on business, Egweni offers you a warm welcome and relaxed stay.
