Carryblaire offers catered accommodation and can sleep 22 people in 11 rooms. Our rooms do not have any self catering apart from a fridge and tea and coffee facilities.
All our bedrooms are decoratively inspired by elements from African nature. They have thatched roofs and mosquito nets and are scattered with antique pieces collected from Parys...
All rooms are fitted with fans and for the winter months with electric heaters and electric blankets... Rooms can be made up as either King Size or two single beds and have full en-suite bathrooms...
Carryblaire River Retreat is graded by Tourism Grading Council as a 4-star Country House and therefore does not have any self catering facilities...
Catering is included in our rates with options of dinner and breakfast or just breakfast included.
Meals consist of healthy and wholesome farm style cooking, served in the dining room at the main lodge with stunning views overlooking the river.

| 1Km Before the Kroonvaal toll plaza, take the Parys/Sasolburg turnoff - R59. Turn right towards Parys. At approx 14Km you will find Parys airfield on your left. Immediately after Parys Airfield turn right at the Vaal Eden sign (You are now on dirt). Approx 500m turn left on the S1052 Road. Travel for approx 9Km through several bends. Carryblaire entrance is on your left. Distance from JHB central approx 120Km. Approx 1 hour 30 min drive.
